Q&A

What's the story of the venue?

We planned to see 6 spots on our venue scouting trip in Tuscany. While driving from one of the venues to the other, we found the Castello as a site to see on the way. We took a detour and immediately fell in love with the ancient trees giving way to a beautiful castle atop the Tuscan hills. While the castle was closed, Utkarsh still tried to get a better look, determined to see if this would be where we could get married, but only found locked doors. Later that night, our friend (shoutout Alaia!) called the castle, spoke in Italian, and convinced them to let some Americans see the venue off-season. We immediately fell in love. We cannot wait to share the Castello, a 10th century family-owned venue.

When should we arrive?

The wedding festivities will take place over three days, from June 18th to June 20th. We recommend arriving in Tuscany before the 18th so you can join us on the first day's events.

Which airport should we fly into?

Check the Travel tab of the website for tips on getting to and traveling within Italy. Do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions!

How do we get to the venue?

Check the Transportation tab of the website. We plan to arrange shuttles from Florence--more details to come!

Where should we stay?

Check the Travel tab of the website for links to Hotels and Airbnbs. We love our extended stays in Tuscany.

Is Indian attire mandatory? If I am not Indian, can I wear Indian clothes?

Indian clothes are not required. We'd love for you all to dress in what you're comfortable in. You’re absolutely encouraged to participate in the fun of Indian attire if you would like and we would be more than happy to chat different options. Check out some links below for purchase/rental sites.

Can we bring our kids?

While we love your little ones (maybe even more than we love you), our wedding events are only for adults. We hope you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy some child-free time in Tuscany!

I have dietary restrictions. Can accommodations be made?

Absolutely. When you RSVP, please let us know about any allergies or restrictions (e.g., vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.), and we’ll make sure you're taken care of.

Are you registered somewhere?

Your presence is the only gift we need. We truly mean this - we know it's no small task getting to Italy.
If it is important to you personally to give a gift, please donate to a community organization that you love, or book a special event while in Italy (like a cooking class or wine tasting)! We'd love to hear who you chose to support or the activity you selected.

When should I RSVP by?

The official RSVP deadline will be included in your invitation, but you can expect it to be sometime in early spring. That said, if you already know whether or not you’ll be able to join us, we’d be so grateful if you could let us know sooner—early responses really help with planning (especially for a destination wedding!).

Let's Party in Tuscany!
