Florence is the closest major city to the events and is ~ 1 hour drive or train ride to Arezzo. We plan to provide shuttle options from Florence to Arezzo as guests are arriving, so please check back for more details.

Florence (FLR)
Florence is the closest airport to the Castello. It's a smaller international airport, but offers some direct European flights. This is ~1 hour drive to Arezzo.
Rome (FCO)
Rome is a major international hub with many direct flights from the U.S. and beyond. From Rome, it's about 1.5 hours by high-speed train to Florence or 2 hours to Arezzo.
Milan (MXP or LIN)
Milan is another large international airport with many flight options. From Milan, you can reach Florence in about 2 hours via high-speed train.
Traveling by train is one of the easiest and most scenic ways to get around Italy — especially between major cities like Rome, Florence, and Milan. The two main train providers are Trenitalia and Italo.
Tickets: You can book online, on mobile apps, or at the station. For high-speed trains, book in advance for the best prices.
Train Stations: Major cities often have more than one station. For example, in Florence, most trains arrive at Firenze Santa Maria Novella (SMN) — right in the city center. It's best to confirm your station before booking.
